Kyle Baugher is best known to the public as the husband of British actress Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton in Yellowstone. Unlike his wife, however, Baugher has spent most of his professional life away from the entertainment industry. He has been described by established publications as a financier, while his earlier years included a notable career as a Princeton University lacrosse player.
Because Baugher maintains a relatively private life, there is considerably less reliable information about him than there is about Reilly. That has also led to confusion online, particularly around his age, net worth and supposed connections to Yellowstone and other television productions.
Here is what can be established from the available public record.

Who Is Kyle Baugher?
Kyle Baugher is an American financier whose public profile is closely connected to his marriage to Kelly Reilly. People has described him as a Princeton graduate and former lacrosse player who later moved into finance.
Before becoming known as Reilly’s husband, Baugher had already built a substantial academic and sporting record at Princeton. He played men’s lacrosse for the Tigers and became one of the team’s senior leaders.
Princeton’s own archives identify Baugher as a defensive midfield specialist. In a 2002 profile, the university described him as a short-stick defensive midfielder and highlighted how important his defensive work was to the team.
His career at Princeton was significant enough for him to serve as one of the team’s three captains in 2002. The university’s lacrosse record book lists Baugher, Scott Farrell and B.J. Prager as the 2002 captains.
Kyle Baugher’s Age and Birthday
One of the most frequently searched details about Kyle Baugher is his age.
The difficulty is that his exact date of birth has not been reliably established by authoritative public sources. Some biography websites publish a specific birthday and calculate an age from it, but those claims are not consistently supported by primary or high-quality sources.
For that reason, it is safer not to present a precise age or birthday as established fact.
What is documented is that Baugher graduated from Princeton in 2002. Princeton’s contemporary records identify him as a senior that year, while People also identifies him as a Princeton graduate from the same period.
This provides useful context about his generation without pretending that an unverified birth date is confirmed.
Kyle Baugher and Princeton University
Baugher’s Princeton years are among the best-documented parts of his biography.
He played for the Princeton Tigers as a specialist defensive midfielder. Rather than becoming known primarily for scoring, he developed into a player whose value came from defending, marking opponents and contributing in transition.
A 2002 Princeton Athletics profile explains that Baugher originally approached the game from an offensive midfield position before moving into the short-stick defensive midfield role. The change became an important part of his college career.
His coach, Bill Tierney, praised his contribution to the team and described him as one of Princeton’s most important players.
Baugher’s honours included:
- Second-team All-Ivy League selection in 2002
- Honourable mention All-American recognition
- 2002 Princeton team captain
- Higginbotham Trophy recognition
- NCAA championship success with Princeton
Princeton’s 2002 records confirm his second-team All-Ivy selection, while the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association’s All-American list includes Baugher among the honourable mentions.
His college career also included a difficult setback. Princeton reported that Baugher missed the NCAA championship game in 2001 after breaking his arm during the semifinal against Towson.
He returned to play an important role for Princeton the following season.
Kyle Baugher’s Lacrosse Career
Baugher’s sporting background is an important part of his biography because it predates his association with Kelly Reilly.
At Princeton, he was known for his defensive abilities rather than as a conventional high-scoring midfielder. Contemporary coverage described him as a specialist who could mark opponents, contribute on face-offs and occasionally move forward when needed.
His brother Spencer also played lacrosse at Princeton. Princeton Athletics noted that Spencer Baugher graduated in 1998 and won three NCAA championship rings, while Kyle was part of a Princeton team that won another championship.
The Baugher family therefore had a strong connection with Princeton lacrosse well before Kyle became known through celebrity coverage.
What Does Kyle Baugher Do for a Living?
Kyle Baugher is generally described as a financier.
People has reported that he works in finance, while other established coverage has similarly described him as a financier or investor.
However, the public record does not provide enough reliable information to confidently state his current employer, exact job title or precise area of finance.
This is worth highlighting because many websites publish detailed claims about Baugher’s supposed positions at particular financial companies. Those claims are not all supported by strong primary evidence.
A responsible biography should therefore distinguish between what is documented and what is merely repeated online.
Is Kyle Baugher a financier?
Yes. Reputable media outlets have described Kyle Baugher as a financier.
His work is separate from Kelly Reilly’s acting career, and he has generally avoided the level of public exposure associated with the entertainment industry.
Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly
Kyle Baugher is married to Kelly Reilly, the English actress best known internationally for playing Beth Dutton in Yellowstone.
The couple met in Texas, although the circumstances are more interesting than a typical celebrity introduction. Reilly has explained that she travelled to Marfa, Texas, as a friend’s plus-one for a wedding. That was where she met Baugher, who was connected to the wedding through his family.
Reilly later described Baugher as the love of her life and has spoken warmly about their marriage while generally keeping their relationship away from the spotlight.
Their relationship developed partly as a long-distance romance. In a 2011 interview with The Guardian, Reilly said that her boyfriend lived in New York and that he was not an actor or someone working in the entertainment business.
That description fits the later public identification of Baugher as her partner.
When Did Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly Get Married?
Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly married in 2012 in Somerset, England.
Multiple publications identify June 2012 as the time of their wedding, with PureWow reporting the date as 5 June 2012.
The wedding was deliberately private rather than a large celebrity event. Their preference for privacy has continued throughout their marriage.
The couple has occasionally shared glimpses of their relationship, but neither has turned their private life into a major public brand.
People reported that Reilly and Baugher had maintained their low-profile relationship for years and that Baugher does not maintain the same kind of public social-media presence associated with many celebrity spouses.
Do Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly Have Children?
There is no reliable public confirmation that Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly have children.
This is an area where online biographies often make assumptions or repeat unsupported claims. Publicly available reporting about the couple does not establish that they have children together.
The absence of a public announcement should not be interpreted as evidence about their private circumstances. Reilly and Baugher have consistently kept much of their personal life away from the media.
For that reason, the most accurate answer is simply that no children have been publicly confirmed.
Is Kyle Baugher in Yellowstone?
No. Kyle Baugher is not a cast member of Yellowstone.
The confusion is understandable because searches for his name frequently appear alongside Yellowstone because of his marriage to Kelly Reilly.
Reilly plays Beth Dutton, one of the central characters in the series. Her character’s romantic relationship with Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser, is part of the show’s fictional storyline.
Baugher’s real-life relationship with Reilly is completely separate from that story.
Coverage of Reilly’s personal life consistently identifies Baugher as her husband and a financier rather than an actor.
Does Kyle Baugher play Walker in Yellowstone?
No.
There is no reliable evidence that Kyle Baugher played Walker or any other character in Yellowstone. The search term appears to result from confusion surrounding names and the wider Yellowstone franchise.
Baugher should not be described as a Yellowstone actor.
Kyle Baugher and the Yellowstone Franchise: Why the Confusion Exists
There is another source of confusion involving a person named Kyle Baugher.
A different Kyle Baugher has been associated online with entertainment production, including projects connected to the Yellowstone universe. Some databases and secondary articles have subsequently linked those credits to Kelly Reilly’s husband.
However, there is no sufficiently reliable public evidence establishing that the television-production Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly’s husband are the same person.
That distinction matters.
A person’s name appearing in an entertainment database does not automatically establish their identity, particularly when the individual is relatively private and has a common enough name to create potential confusion.
For this reason, production credits attributed to another Kyle Baugher should not be presented as part of the financier’s biography without a clear identity link.
Does Kyle Baugher Have Movies or TV Shows?
Kyle Baugher is not known as an actor, and there is no reliable filmography establishing him as an on-screen performer.
Searches for “Kyle Baugher movies” and “Kyle Baugher movies and TV shows” can produce entertainment-related results because of the separate production credits mentioned above.
That does not mean Kelly Reilly’s husband acted in those productions.
The available evidence supports describing Baugher as a finance professional and former Princeton lacrosse player, not as a film or television actor.
Kyle Baugher Net Worth
Kyle Baugher’s exact net worth is not publicly verified.
Numerous websites publish specific estimates, sometimes giving a precise dollar figure. However, without reliable financial disclosures or authoritative reporting, those numbers should be treated as speculation rather than established facts.
His occupation as a financier suggests that his career is financially significant, but occupation alone cannot establish personal wealth.
The same caution applies to claims about investments, property ownership and annual income. A trustworthy biography should not turn estimates from celebrity-finance websites into facts.
Kelly Reilly’s earnings and net worth are a separate matter and should not be used to calculate Baugher’s personal wealth.
Kyle Baugher’s Height
There is also no reliably established public figure for Kyle Baugher’s height.
Some online biographies list a precise measurement, but these figures are not consistently supported by authoritative sources.
As a result, it is better to describe his height as not publicly verified rather than repeat an unsupported number.
Kyle Baugher: American or British?
Kyle Baugher is American, while Kelly Reilly is British.
People has reported that Baugher is originally from Long Island, New York.
His connection to Britain largely comes through his marriage to Reilly and their wedding in Somerset, England.
This distinction can matter because some searches incorrectly describe Baugher as British simply because he is married to a British actress and has links to England.
Kyle Baugher and Kelly Reilly’s Private Life
Privacy has been a consistent feature of their relationship.
Reilly’s career has placed her in the international spotlight, particularly since the success of Yellowstone, but Baugher has largely remained outside that world.
The contrast between their public profiles is striking: Reilly regularly appears in films, television programmes, interviews and publicity campaigns, while Baugher has maintained a much quieter professional and personal identity.
People has reported that Reilly has occasionally shared details about their home life and relationship, including references to their dog and time spent together.
Their approach also explains why so many basic biographical questions about Baugher remain unanswered.

Final Takeaway
Kyle Baugher’s public story is much more than a celebrity-spouse biography. Before becoming known through Kelly Reilly, he had an accomplished career in Princeton lacrosse, where he developed into a specialist defensive midfielder, earned second-team All-Ivy recognition, received honourable mention All-American honours and served as a team captain.
Today, he is best known as Kelly Reilly’s husband and as a financier who has largely stayed outside the entertainment spotlight. The couple met at a wedding in Marfa, Texas, married in Somerset in 2012 and have maintained a notably private relationship.
Many of the details commonly searched online—including his precise age, birthday, height and net worth—remain unverified. The same caution applies to claims linking him personally to Yellowstone production or acting credits. Keeping those distinctions clear gives a more accurate picture of Kyle Baugher: a former Princeton lacrosse standout and finance professional whose public profile largely exists because of his long-standing marriage to one of Britain’s best-known television actresses.
